I wholeheartedly endorse your support of mentally handicapped dogs!! Although, everyone knows that the chocolate lab is the pinnacle of canine evolution.
I'm watching for the party pictures...Love, Mom
Don't bother if you aren't experienced in bear dogs. They have really strong hunting instincts and don't cope well with other animals.
I Love my Ainu Inu, Kuma. She is by far the very best pup I've had in my life. She is loyal, obedient, loving and a great judge of character. True, they don't cope well with other animals unless raised with them as babies and even then it's iffy. However, they are for the owner that wants to spend their life with their dog and make them their partner because they are a thinking and active breed that needs to share life with their parent, which would be you. They are strong willed so it is important that the puppy chooses you, not the other way around. They will sense if you are right for them, like Kuma choose me. You couldn't have chosen a better breed!
Hi, I am involved in Shiba Inu rescue, and recently have come to meet this breed. I rescued a little girl from Las Vegas, and am now getting a boy from No. California who was found while the family was traveling near Las Vegas. I am curious, are there any breeders of this breed? If so, how do I contact them? I am quite certain that these are Ainu Inu or Hokkaidoken as one of my shiba breeders that I work with has identified the little girl as one. Please help if you can.
Jack
